MidiShaper is designed to give you deep, hands-on control over MIDI modulation without locking you into a specific synth or effect. It works as a dedicated modulation engine, allowing you to shape movement and expression across any MIDI-compatible software or hardware.

Instead of relying on fixed modulation sources, MidiShaper lets you design motion visually and apply it wherever MIDI control is available.

Drawable LFOs for Creative Control

At the core of MidiShaper are four fully editable LFOs based on Cableguys’ well-known drawing tools. You can freely design curves, steps, ramps, and complex shapes, then output them directly as MIDI data.

These LFOs can be:

• Synced precisely to your DAW tempo
• Run freely for analogue-style movement
• Restarted with MIDI notes for note-locked patterns

This makes it easy to create rhythmic modulation that stays musically tight or organic motion that evolves over time.

Envelope-Driven Modulation

Each LFO can be shaped further using classic AHDSR envelopes triggered by incoming MIDI notes. This allows modulation to fade in naturally, respond dynamically to performance, or reset cleanly with each new note.

Envelope control makes MidiShaper suitable not only for rhythmic effects, but also for expressive performance-driven modulation.

Powerful Routing via Modulation Matrix

MidiShaper includes a flexible modulation matrix that routes its modulation sources to a wide range of MIDI destinations. You can control pitch bend, modulation wheel, channel aftertouch, and multiple user-defined MIDI CCs simultaneously.

This routing system enables:
