Atoms by Baby Audio is a groundbreaking synthesizer that uses state-of-the-art physical modeling to generate lush, organic sounds. Inspired by real-world physics, it simulates a network of interconnected masses and springs, excited by a virtual bowing system, resulting in textures that are both alive and otherworldly.

Despite its simple interface, Atoms offers deep sound design possibilities. Each of the six main parameters can be modulated in various ways, allowing for constantly evolving patches. The musically calibrated randomization algorithm generates new usable sounds on demand, while the Recycle function produces variations of your current patch. You can also lock parameters to preserve aspects you like while exploring new sonic directions.

The plugin includes over 250 factory presets, covering everything from airy pads to gritty leads, sci-fi effects, and string-like textures. Expansion packs further expand the creative possibilities, providing additional presets and sound design tools. Atoms’ built-in effects, including a resonant low-pass filter, reverb, and harmonic overtones, are integrated into the physical model for more organic modulation possibilities.

Key features include polyphonic MPE support, an intuitive visualizer of the mass-spring network, and extensive automation options for evolving soundscapes.
